Vehicle traffic in the parking lot of Uzvaras park is closed until September 12 in connection with the dismantling of the monument in Uzvara Park.
Also until September 12, pedestrian movement is closed on Bāriņu Street from Uzvaras bulvāris to Hermaņa Street, as well as on Uzvaras bulvāris from Bāriņu Street to Ojāra Vācieša Street.
The area and deadline of the restrictions may change, depending on the progress of the works and the operational situation around the park, which will be reported separately, the council said.
