On September 17 a new minority multimedia platform Rus.LSM.lv is launched, in which Russian-language content from Latvian Television, Latvian Radio 4 and public media portal LSM are being combined in a new format.

“The goal of Latvian Television is to ensure effective and purposeful communication with the Latvian minority audience. In order to keep it in the Latvian information space, we have created a new meeting place on the RUS.LSM platform. By combining all three public media, it will be possible to provide objective, independent and diverse content even faster and more conveniently,” said Ivars Priede, LTV board member.

The content offer of the platform will include text and graphic information, video and audio, as well as live video formats and events, and staff will include many familiar and respected Russian-language journalists with the team of LTV's “Russkoye Veshchani” (Русское вещание) merged with the team of the RUS.LSM portal.

Today at 16.00 a live broadcast will showcase the new multifunctional studio and there will be a chance for viewers to interact with the new team.
