Latvia's foreign policy in focus during January 26 livestreamed event

Take note – story published 2 years ago

January 27 will see the annual foreign policy debate taking place in the Latvian Saeima, but one day before that there is an excellent chance to get a grip on Latvia's foreign policy concerns with the latest livestreamed event from the Latvian Institute of International Affairs (LIIA).

"The year 2022 will bring Latvia a number of opportunities, which will be constantly accompanied by new challenges in various areas of foreign and security policy. An informed society and its participation in promoting the country’s international role are important preconditions for successful policy implementation. The Latvian Institute of International Affairs has once again put its trust in a team of talented and professional experts, inviting them to look at and evaluate various foreign and security policy areas and their progress in 2021, as well as to consider development scenarios for 2022, thus taking part in the process of informing the society and offering recommendations to Latvian policy makers," says advance publicity material from LIIA.
