Watch the independence day military parade along the bank of the River Daugava in Rīga!

A military parade dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia was held by the armed forces of Latvia and its allies, institutions subordinated to the Ministry of the Interior and units of the Youth Guard, and for the first time unmanned aerial vehicles and a military vehicle produced by Latvian entrepreneurs were also included.

Approximately 1,500 soldiers, national guardsmen, policemen, border guards, firefighters and youth guards participated, including soldiers of the allied forces from Albania, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and the United States. Some of the loudest cheers greeted a flag group from Ukraine.

Latvian unmanned aerial vehicle systems developer and manufacturer "Atlas Aerospace" showed off the "Atlas Pro" unmanned aerial vehicle and the Latvian unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer "UAV Factory" showed its latest unmanned reconnaissance aircraft "Penguin C Mk 2 VTOL", which is equipped with vertical take-off and landing equipment and can be used in difficult terrain.

The parade also feature the prototype of the military off-road vehicle "VR-1 FOX" developed by Latvian companies SIA "Baltic Motorsport Promotion" and SIA "Vāgi" and flypasts by various aircraft.
