In his words, Belarus has put up a list of sanctions in relation to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, which includes about 100 officials from each country who will be banned from entering Belarus.
Glaz was also critical of both French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Lithuania on September 29 and the role of Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius in leading international action against the illegal Lukashenko regime.
As reported, based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as in contact with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Lithuania, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity) decided on September 25 to impose an indefinite ban on entry of 101 Belarusian officials into Latvia.
The entry ban applies to Belarusian officials from the Presidential Administration of Belarus, the Ministry of the Interior and its subordinate institutions, the Ministry of Communications and Information, and the State National Television and Radio.
The list also includes officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the Central Election Commission, the Minsk Election Commission, regional and city executive committees of Belarus and other institutions.
