Co-financing has been awarded to the following projects:
- A development cooperation project by Cleantech Latvia association, “Capacity building of industry associations serving engineering companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan”, aimed at providing support for the introduction of engineers’ certification in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan thereby ensuring high quality standards in investment projects and the development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in new fields;
- A development cooperation project by “Risinājumu darbnīca” (Solutions workshop) association, “Civil society engagement in improving the rural development processes and promotion of efficient models for sustainable local development”, aimed at increasing the role of civil society in the rural development processes in Moldova and facilitating an effective and sustainable local development.
- A global education project by Green Liberty association, “Fair Trade Friendly Baltics – LV”, aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of Fair Trade labelling and the link between the purchase of fair trade products and a responsible consumption.
- A global education project by the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation association, “Eurodad Network Strengthening Grant”, aimed at strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and awareness in society about SDGs and their financing.
The projects have already received support from the European Commission and the Nordic Council of Ministers. Total funding awarded to the projects is EUR 24,995.
