'Latvia-Estonia Cooperation: A New Turning Point?'

On September 9 in the twin border cities of Valka (Latvia) and Valga (Estonia), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevicswill meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu. The ministers will discuss the bilateral relations between Latvia and Estonia, regional cooperation, support for Ukraine, and various topics on the international agenda.

The pair will also unveil a new report titled “Latvia-Estonia Cooperation: A New Turning Point?” which includes an analytical overview of cooperation between the two countries in the context of increasing challenges and sets out areas for practical bilateral cooperation; it also offers recommendations for the improvement and development of bilateral relations. The report was drawn up by the researcher and former diplomat, Jānis Eichmanis, on the part of Latvia, and the journalist Ragnar Kond, on the part of Estonia.
