On Monday, 11,316 voters, or 0.73% of the electorate, cast their votes. Most activity was observed in Rīga and Vidzeme on Monday, the smallest in Latgale.
In comparison, on the first day of early vote before the previous Saeima election in 2018, 7,937 people cast their vote, according to CVK.
Early voting can be done on two more days: Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00, and Friday from 10:00 and 16:00. This option will be available at 66 polling stations throughout Latvia. A list of these stations is available on the Central Election Commission's website.
Those who have cast their votes in advance will be allowed to reconsider and vote again on October 1. The vote in storage will then not be counted.
The parliamentary elections will take place on Saturday, October 1 between 7:00 to 20:00.
