As the cartoon clearly references/reworks/remodels/reproduces the famous 1805 cartoon 'The plumb pudding in danger' by the English artist James Gillray, we thought we'd use it, too – with suitable attribution to the original.

LSM's Latvian language service on October 22 published a topical cartoon by resident cartoonist Zemgus Zaharāns, which references China's hosting of a forum on the Belt and Road Initiative project, with Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orbán and Aleksandar Vucic in attendance.
