October party ratings see New Unity in top position

In the October party ratings, New Unity returns to the leading position, but the leader of the August ratings, the National Alliance, is in second position, according to an SKDS poll. 

8.8% of respondents said they would vote for New Unity, a slight increase compared to August (up by 0.1%).

The National Alliance is in second place with 8.5%. This is 1% less than in the August party ranking.

Latvia First is in third position with 7.1% support (7.4% in August). The fourth place is occupied by Progressives, to which 6.3% of respondents are ready to give their vote in October (6.4% in August). Both parties are down compared to August.

The Greens and Farmers Union and the United List follow with 6% and 5.4% of the potential vote respectively (5.1% and 4.5% in August). Both political forces are up.

4.8% of respondents now promise to vote for Harmony (5.3% in August), and 4.4% for For Stability! (4.7% in August) - both down compared to two months ago.

More than a quarter of the citizens polled say that they would not know who they would vote for if the elections were held today. 13.5% would not vote.

The poll took place in October 2024, involving 1807 Latvian citizens.
