Latvian Health Minister goes into self-isolation

Health Minister Daniels Pavļuts has gone into self-isolation after an employee in his office had tested positive for Covid-19, Pavļuts wrote on Twitter February 17.

"Good morning. Whatever you might say, Covid is still wandering nearby. Last week Covid visited the vaccination bureau, today I got a message that my colleague in the Minister's bureau has tested Covid positive. I am a contact person. I [have to perform] a test and [go into] self-isolation.

"I am feeling well and working!" wrote Pavļuts.
