The court has upheld the KNAB decision, Vidzeme District Court's spokeswoman Oksana Hvostova told LETA Wednesday.
The Corruption Prevention Bureau last year concluded that Unity had not reported all of its election campaign costs, namely, several Unity newcomers from regional parties and the Reform Party had organized individual campaigns to gain voters' support.
Unity was not the only party whose election campaign costs did not comply with the law - the Corruption Prevention Bureau also fined Harmony, the Union of Greens and Farmers and other parties, but Unity had to pay the largest fine, EUR 4,300.
If the KNAB decision comes into force, Unity could lose funding from the state.
