Pavļuts met with the Association of Junior Doctors, the Association of Healthcare Employers, the Latvian Hospital Association, the Nurses Association, as well as the Latvian Medical Association.

During the meeting, he confirmed that the mobilization of medical practitioners which was previously referred to as the final possible step in the treatment of Covid-19 patients and which provoked an outrage of medics, is not currently on the agenda of the Ministry of Health.

Pavļuts and representatives came a common understanding of the Covid-19 crisis management, the Minister's representatives said. Pavļuts thanked all those who were prepared to support the overcoming of the Covid-19 pandemic in hospitals and the medical practitioners in the private sector who were voluntarily prepared to help out at hospitals.
