Zelenskyy thanks Latvia for its help so far

On April 2, President of Latvia Egils Levits and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the military assistance and other aid being given by Latvia and other Western countries to Ukraine to counter the Russian invasion.

"V. Zelenskyy thanked Latvia for its significant military contribution to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. President of Latvia E. Levits confirmed that Latvia will continue to do everything possible in military assistance. Latvia will also continue to urge NATO members to widen military assistance to Ukraine," said an account of the call released by the Latvian Presidential Chancellery.

"Both presidents also discussed Latvia's initiatives to hold Russia accountable in the international courts for its aggression against Ukraine. V. Zelenskyy thanked Latvia for these initiatives. They also talked about other political and humanitarian aid issues," it added.
