Baltic Foreign Affairs Committees discuss strengthening security in Lithuania

On June 10 and 11, the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Baltic States meet on the Baltic coast in Nida, Lithuania, where supporting Ukraine and strengthening the security of the region will be discussed.

The meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will focus on the security situation that has changed due to the war launched by Russia and on the decisions necessary for strengthening of security expected from the NATO Summit, which will be held in Madrid at the end of this month.

The delegations of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the three Baltic States will also go to the external border of the European Union with Russia's Kaliningrad exclave and visit Klaipėda naval base.
