The State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) says that the test will take place from 10:00 to 10:10.
During the test, the sirens will sound a three-minute wave signal for five seconds, followed by an interruption and a repeated five-second beep and interruption.
There is no cause for concern for residents on this day and no further action is required, as this is a routine test of the alarm sirens.
The VUGD reminds that if residents have not been warned in advance about the siren test, when they hear the siren sound, they should switch on their televisions and radios or other devices to receive information about the reason for their activation and the action to be taken.
Alarm sirens are designed to alert people quickly in the event of a disaster or threat thereof.
