46 attempts to cross Latvian-Belarusian border prevented Tuesday

Since the announcement of the state of emergency on the Latvia-Belarus border August 10, the Border Guard has prevented 4,847 persons from crossing the border.

No persons were detained having crossed the border illegally.

Since the announcement of the state of the emergency, 109 people have been allowed to cross the border citing humanitarian reasons.
