From the beginning of 2023, new design combat uniforms are being be introduced which will be, appropriately enough, in dark navy blue. The uniforms are visually very different from other National Armed Forces units, making the Navy a lot more distinctive.
"It is important to emphasize that the new uniform is already functional – comfortable and suitable for performing service tasks on Navy ships, including fire resistant and water ressitant coating," said a release from the National Armed Forces.
A complete change of uniforms will be implemented gradually, and until the end of 2023, Navy soldiers will continue to be seen every day in both the new design and the standard camo green uniform of the National Armed Forces.
