STRATCOMCOE talks about annual discussions

Take note – story published 2 years ago

The Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) returns with another in its series of online discussions April 28, and this time the subject of the talk is... some other talks in the near future.

"In this weeks StratCom Talks we are preparing the ground for our flagship annual event, the Riga StratCom Dialogue which takes place next week on 6 and 7 May," says STRATCOMCOE, adding that Wednesday's event will outline some of the things to expect next week including how the Covid-19 pandemic became "a chimera of disinformation and multiple global stakeholders taking steps to leverage vaccine diplomacy for political currency on the international stage."

The state of the trans-Atlantic alliance and regulation of online platforms will also be covered in the discussion about the imminent discussions.

Taking part will be three experts from STRATCOMCOE itself: Guna Šņore, Linda Curika and the director of the center Jānis Sārts.

As usual the event will be livestreamed on April 28 at 16:00 Rīga time (GMT+3) via the STRACOMCOE Facebook and YouTube channels, and we will have a live link here on LSM, too.
