As of July 1, the requirements for a Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificate in the education sector will be lifted, the Ministry of Education and Science said May 3.

The abolition of the requirement is outlined in the amendments prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science to the rules on epidemiological security measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection. Amendments were approved by the government on Tuesday.

The amendments also provide that pupils applying for a summer job can be employed in the educational process or provide nanny services during summer holidays without vaccination or recovery a certificate.

At the same time, the rules preserve the right of the employer to assess the potential risk of each employee and to the health of other people, and to determine the jobs for which a Covid-19 certificate is required.
