As early as the second day of school, three forms in two Rīga schools have gone into quarantine, Rīga City Council's Department of Education, Culture, and Sport told LSM September 2.

Two forms of Riga French Lycée - year 1 and year 12 - have encountered cases of Covid-19 due to which they are now in quarantine. The Department could not say whether there were vaccinated pupils among the 12th graders who would not have to quarantine.

The Rīga Valda Zālīša Primary School year 3 is also in quarantine. There is no information on whether Covid-19 was detected among students or teachers.
