Take note – story published 1 year ago

After a two-year break, the largest dedicated forest information event in the Baltics - the Latvian Forest Days - will take place at the Latvian State Forest (LVM) Nature Park in Tērvete on May 27 and 28, bringing together forest industry professionals, conservationists, nature lovers, families and students.

During the event which runs from 10:00 to 17:00 each day, visitors will be introduced to Latvian forestry, providing information on environmentally friendly and sustainable forest management principles and the ways in which a simple seedling ends up as part of a wooden house.

Friday, May 27, will be dedicated to groups of children and young people visiting as part of school groups while Saturday, May 28 is a family day open to all with an extensive program of cultural events including performances by the popular bands Skyforger and Līvi.

Entrance is free, and visitors will also get free entrance to the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete.
