With the slogan “Nature has not cancelled anything!” LDF and its “GrassLIFE” project will invite everyone to explore with Latvia's nature.
In line with all national and global restrictions this summer, people should find alternatives to their usual entertainment and activities. Thanks to the diversity of Latvia's nature, it will be possible for everyone to find no less exciting developments in nature throughout the summer until autumn.
The event series “Nature has not cancelled anything!” starting in June offers to explore Latvia's nature in four stages, joined by many others throughout the summer. The time and place of these events is free to choose.
The opening events include:
- blossom ultra-marathon - explore the diversity of flower species in natural meadows.
- insect love festival “The naughty insect” - now, during the mating of insects, learn about the lives of insects and their importance in nature.
- “Mobile herd” show - zoom in on a mobile herd, learn the importance of grazing in restoration of grasslands.
- concert “Birds of the Meadow” - listen to the songs of the birds of the meadow.
