City council representative Adviser Kristaps Kauliņš said that some of the playgrounds have been dismantled, and six will be restored this year.
"We will check [the playgrounds] annually. For those owned by the local government, a plan will be in place to seek funding to maintain, develop, and supplemet. [..] Steps have been taken to make new plots annually, in line with the budgetary options," Kauliņš said.
