Of the 11,911 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 7.8% were positive. The 14-day cumulative morbidity rate per 100,000 population remained unchanged from Monday's figure of 501.1.

Unfortunately, 14 more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed. All of the fatalities were aged 50 years or over and three of the dead were fully vaccinated. The total death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 4,390.
Tuesday data show 535 patients being treated in hospital with 100 displaying serious symptoms. Both indicators are slightly up on Monday's figures.
In Estonia the last 24 hours brought 618 cases and 3 deaths while in Lithuania there were 1,492 cases and 23 deaths.
