The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 128,688.
Of 18,493 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 3% were positive. 4% is regarded as the threshold at which the virus is spreading in an uncontrolled manner.
The 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants rose slightly from 428.4 Monday to 435.6 Tuesday. Anything over 200 is classed as a "very high risk" pandemic situation under the government's four-stage "traffic light" system.

Unfortunately, eleven more deaths were also confirmed Tuesday, taking the total death toll since the start of the pandemic to 2,280.
Meanwhile in Estonia 295 new cases were confirmed May 18 while in Lithuania 685 cases were confirmed.

Use of nose and mouth coverings is compulsory in all public places indoors, including workplaces. Physical distancing and frequent hand washing and sanitary cleaning habits are encouraged.
