Of the newly-confirmed cases on Monday, 102 cases were recorded in unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated people, while 251 were fully vaccinated.
Out of 2,357 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 15.0% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 of the population declined further from 1,663 Sunday to 1,610 Monday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 802,887 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

Unfortunately, five more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed. All fatalities were aged over 50 years. The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 5,633.
Monday hospital data from the National Health Service show 777 patients being treated in hospitals (up on 763 the previous day). 76 patients were admitted and 82 were discharged during the previous 24 hours. 27 patients are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
