Five new regional vaccination centers open this week in Latvia

Vaccination centers in several regional centers will open this week, National Health Service (NVD) said January 12.

The new centers will open in Balvi, Līvāni, Olaine, Dobele, and Valmiera. The centers will provide both primary and booster vaccination.

The new centers will operate in addition to the already existing 11 municipal vaccination centres in Aizkraukle, Alūksne, Bauska, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jēkabpils, Kuldīga, Liepāja, Madona, Rēzekne, Salaspils, Talsi, Tukums, Ventspils.

In Riga, since the end of 2021, major vaccination centres have been open in Ķīpsala and ATTA Center.

In vaccination centers, residents may receive vaccines both with prior booking and queueing without prior registration.
