The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic now stands at 13,236.
2,256 tests were carried out in the previous 24-hours of which 5.1% were positive, down on the 9.2% rate the previous day.
Unfortunately, nine deaths were also confirmed Monday. Three victims were aged 65 to 75 and six were aged 80 to 90.

So far 1,635 patients have recovered from infection and 162 have died.
According to the National Health Service (NVD), 437 people are being treated for symptoms of coronavirus in Latvia's hospitals. Of that number 414 have moderate symptoms while 23 have serious symptoms.

On November 23, Estonia reported 232 new cases of coronavirus while the situation in Lithuania over the weekend was particularly concerning with more than 4,000 cases confirmed.
On November 22, the 14-day cumulative number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 of population was 253.3 in Latvia, 788.8 in Lithuania and 259.8 in Estonia, according to data from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
