Of 8,508 tests carried out over the past three days, 34.2% were positive, resulting in 2,909 confirmed new cases of infection. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population rose from 986.2 Friday to 1004.4 Saturday, the highest rate since the beginning of April.

Monday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 227 patients being treated in hospitals, one of whom is displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
