Of 3,675 tests carried out over the past day, 24% were positive, resulting in 908 confirmed new cases of infection. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population continued its slow but steady climb from 404 Tuesday to 420 Wednesday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 843,035 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
Latvia is also part of the European Union's wider Covid-19 certification scheme.
