Pēdējās diennakts laikā veikti 30 izmeklējumi, 2 pozitīvi COVID – 19 saslimšanas gadījumi, kas atgriezās Latvijā 7.martā un inficējušies Itālijas kalnu kūrortā Červinja. Kopā veikti 274 izmeklējumi, Latvijā kopā apstiprināti 8 COVID-19 saslimšanas gadījumi.

Of 30 tests carried out in the last 24 hours, 2 tested positive.
In total since February 29, 274 tests have been carried out, of which 8 are positive.
The SPKC quickly followed the data with a tweet saying "Given that the WHO has assessed the global prevalence of COVID-19 as a very high risk, it is recommended that the organizers of conferences, seminars and other similar international events carefully evaluate the feasibility, potential benefits and risks of the event."
A series of guidelines for organizers of such events was also published online [in Latvian].
It then followed it up seconds later with another tweet saying there were currently no restrictions on concerts, theatrical performances, exhibitions and other public events in Latvia,
