The solitary death was a person aged 80-89 years who was fully vaccinated.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,790.
Friday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 245 patients being treated in hospitals, nine of whom are displaying serious Covid symptoms.
