One additional death has also been confirmed, the fatality toll now standing at 32.
The victim was aged 90 to 95 and had been in contact with a relative who had returned from abroad.
The Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC) said 1,473 tests had been conducted during the previous 24-hour period.
In total 198,508 tests have been carried out since February 29.
So far 1,052 patients have recovered from infection.

SPKC also added that of the three new cases, one person had arrived from a country with infection rate above 25, one from a country with infection rate below 16, and one had been in contact with the arrival from a country with a rate below 16. The names of the countries in question were not given.
Four patients are in hospital, all described as having moderate symptoms of the disease.

The number for medical emergencies is 113, the number for enquiring about a COVID-19 test if you have developed some potential symptoms after returning from overseas or being in contact with someone confirmed as having coronavirus is 8303 and the SPKC COVID-19 advice helpline is 67387661.
The SPKC has information in English about the approved methods of protecting yourself from the virus, symptoms and medical procedures and an interactive map plotting the incidence and distribution of the disease in Latvia.
Currently 14 days of self-isolation should be observed for people arriving or transiting from the following countries:
- Luxembourg
- Romania
- Bulgaria
- Andorra
- Sweden
- Portugal
- Spain
- Belgium
- Czech Republic
- Austria
- Switzerland
