Since the beginning of the pandemic, 893,613 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,934. The latest six victims were all aged 60 years and over.
Tuesday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 266 patients being treated in hospitals, 10 of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
