Of 6,147 tests carried out over the past three days, 17.4% were positive, resulting in 1,072 confirmed new cases of infection. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population fell from 553 Friday to 504 Monday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 948,611 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 6,041.
Monday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 322 patients being treated in hospitals, four of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
