Since the beginning of the pandemic, 934,888 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 6,008. The latest two victims were both aged 70-79 years.
Tuesday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 442 patients being treated in hospitals, five of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
