A donation of at least EUR 5 can be exchanged for your favorite song on Latvian Radio 5 (pieci.lv) to help people with critical and acute health problems that have a sudden onset and need immediate treatment, but the state does not cover these costs, informed Latvian Radio.
From November 20 to December 21 you can exchange your donation for a song of your choice on Latvian Radio 5 by electronic payment on dod.pieci.lv.
From November 20 until January 4, 2025, everyone in Latvia will have the opportunity to support "High Five!" by donating at Narvesen stores across Latvia, at special donation boxes, and by making a donation with a card.
From December 13 to 19, cash and non-cash donations will also be accepted at the charity marathon's glass studio in Old Town.
The annual fundraiser 'High Five!', whose basic principle is people donating money in return for having a record played on Latvian Radio 5, will run this year from December 13 to 19 and will again see disc jockeys live from a glass studio in the center of Old Town team up with charity website Ziedot.lv.
It is organized by Latvian Radio in close cooperation with Latvian Television, public media portal LSM.lv and long-standing donation partner, charity organization Ziedot.lv.
