The clocks go back by one hour at 04:00 on October 27 as Latvia transitions from summer time to winter time.
Debates continue at national and European level about whether the bi-annual manipulation of clock hands is really necessary but for now it continues. The transition back to summer time will take place on March 30, 2025.
