NATO's Baltic Air Police pilots from Italy's Air Force took to the skies Thursday morning to intercept a Russian military plane Ilyushin IL-20, a reconnaissance and spy craft known in alliance jargon as a 'coot', Latvia's National Armed Forces (NBS) tweeted Thursday.
