airBaltic claims double-digit increase in passenger numbers in 2016

Latvia's national airline airBaltic has seen double-digit growth in passenger numbers since the beginning of 2016, the airline told the press Monday.

The company did not disclose by how much exactly their passenger numbers have grown.

airBaltic also reported that the load factor for their flights has passed 80%, meaning they fill over 80 out of every 100 seats on the company's flights.

airBaltic, known for its punctuality, reported that over 91% of their flights arrive on time.

The release also claims flight regularity of 99.4%, which means that only six out of every 1,000 flights are cancelled.
