A Russian air force tactical transport plane AN-26 and an SU-27 fighter jet were spotted over the Baltic Sea Tuesday, prompting Baltic Air Police (BAP) jets stationed by NATO in Siauliai airbase in Lithuania to scramble in two separate incidents in a long-standing series of provocative fly-bys, tweeted the National Armed Forces (NBS).
NATO Baltic Air Policing QRA F-16 jets also on 7 OCT scrambled to intercept RU Armed Forces Su-27 over the Baltic Sea.
