Latvia offers condolences after Mexico earthquake

Latvian officials offered their condolences to Mexico following the devastating September 19 earthquake that killed hundreds.

"The Foreign Ministry expresses condolences and offers solidarity with the people and officials of Mexico over the devastating consequences caused by yesterday's earthquake near Mexico City," the Foreign Ministry said, wishing safety services luck in rescue operations and speedy recovery to those who have been injured.

Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs took to Twitter to express his condolences. 

The official Twitter account of the Riga Castle also mirrored Rinkēvičs' comments.
