Latvian Railways say no go to Pokémon Go

Take note – story published 7 years ago

Latvian Railways, Latvia's national railways company, is asking Pokémon Go players to refrain from playing near railroad tracks and stations.

In a tweet featuring what appears to be a Psyduck on an undisclosed railway platform, the company says "The railway is a zone of heightened danger, and you must to be careful near it. Platforms and rail ways are not a place for entertainment!"

The game has not been officially released in Latvia yet, but eager Pokemon trainers are using workarounds to play Pokémon Go on their mobile devices.
