The average monthly wage in Latvia was €606 after tax on June 2015, according to the Central Statistics Bureau.
Before the onset of the financial and economic crisis in 2008, the amount was €2,434 and kept declining with every year until 2012.
In 2012, a monthly income of €1,970 would have been enough for the respondents to fulfill their dreams.
This poll is conducted each year by the SKDS pollster. It encompasses 750 to 850 people.
