On March 7 at 7 p.m. the car of the nonpartisan MP Artuss Kaimiņš was demolished, he told Latvian Radio Tuesday.

The car had been parked by the MP's place of residence. He told Latvian radio it was demolished with a mail box.

"The attack [..] was of a hooliganistic character. [The house's] hallway was ransacked, the interior [of the car] was cut with a sharp object, and the hood was smashed. The rear window was broken, and the whole thing was carried out using a mail box. It's something really strange," Kaimiņš told Latvian Radio.

Kaimiņš, a controversial actor-cum-DJ turned politician, said the attack is related to his political activities.
