Attention stat-a-holics! The Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) has published its annual Statistical Yearbook, providing you with a whole twelve months' worth of datasets, graphs, charts and sundry other number-crunching marvels.

The publication contains 14 thematic chapters: geographical characteristics, economy and finance, entrepreneurship, population, labour market, health care, education and culture, social conditions, industry, construction and trade, transport and tourism, foreign trade, agriculture, energy, science, information and communication technologies.

In the preparation of the yearbook statistical data available to the CSB and other institutions, surveys carried out by the CSB, as well as data from state registers and other information systems were used.

The CSB is relasing the Statistical Yearbook of Latvia for the 71st time since the very first one appeared in 1921. The yearbook can be downloaded free of charge from the section "Publications" on the CSB website.
