Take note – story published 1 year ago

Police, rescue crews and members of the public are assembling for a third day of searches in Sigulda, with as yet no sign of a 5-year-old girl named Evita who went missing June 26.

Police called on volunteers to continue a third day of extensive searches, telling them they would likely be required all day despite sweltering temperatures.

As previously reported by LSM, Evita was last seen on a riverside beach June 26 at around 14:00. She is described as 120-130 cm in height with, light hair in an orange hairband, and was dressed in a red swimsuit with a yellow section in front and a yellow with blue circular pattern on the back.

Anyone with information about Evita's whereabouts, or who was an eyewitness and saw her on the beach, is urged to call police on 67950402 or 110.
