The hospital’s spokeswoman, Kristine Bergmane, told LETA the patients had been complaining about weakness, nausea and vomiting and that the medical specialists suspected food poisoning.
The hospital has admitted seven women and three men from Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Brazil. They had come to Kuldīga for the city festival to be celebrated this weekend .
They had all eaten at different restaurants in Kuldīga. For now there is no information about any other common factor in these food poisoning cases.
