September in Latvia this year has been unusually warm and sunny. The first October weekend seems like it will continue the trend. Enjoy!

Skaņu Mežs 2020

The 19th innovative music festival Skaņu Mežs (Sound Forest) is coming up next weekend; however, a free opening concert takes place Friday, October 2, at event venue Fantadroms (Gustava Zemgala Street 74a, building Heinrihs). 

Concert takes place 20:00 until midnight.

Sunday walk in Tukums hills

Sunday, October 4, a 20-kilometer walk will take place through the hills, forests and bogs of Tukums. Estimated duration is 7 hours - from 10:30 to around 19:00.

Picture hunt in Šampēteris, Rīga

Sunday, October 4, in Rīga neighborhoods Zasulauks and Šampēteris, a photo-hunt will take place: individually or in teams, participants will receive photos of the neighborhood and will have a task to find these locations.

The Big Hunt requires registration and will cover around 6 km. The Small Hunt does not require registration, will cover a shorter distance and is suitable for families.

Beginning at Zasulauks train station 12:00.
